I’m a woman who loves to see new places and learn new things–a shameless shutterbug, voracious reader and firm advocate of never letting the fear of travelling alone keep you from seeing the world.

The best trips are the ones taken with family, but I have spent much of my adult life travelling alone. I wasn’t willing to stay home because no one could go with me.  If I can do it, so can you.

In my responsible-adult life I direct the morning newscast for a local television news station in my hometown, New Orleans.  One day, soon, I’ll give you the guided tour.
