Progress made?
Well, y’all, it appears the China Consulate in Houston possesses my passport and paperwork.
Now it’s time to start researching Guilin and surrounds. Stay tuned, I’ll let you know what I find interesting. Just know, I plan to take more photographs than any one person should take in a weekend. Perhaps I will need another memory card.

I will look for flight & hotel packages here. We may have to fly from Hong Kong though.
I will bring extra memory cards too. Also thinking about getting a better camera….
I am never going to say “no” to a better camera. Wait until you see my new digital SLR. It’s lovely, but I haven’t yet had time to play with all of the bells and whistles. I should do that before our trip, but it won’t happen.
Ok, I will check out your camera.
